Thanks Giving, and delicious food!

I was writing a facebook status update to express what I am thankful for this T-day, but there was just SO much it wouldn't all fit. Then suddenly remembered I have this pretty cool blog where I can type out my thoughts and you could read them if you felt so inclined. Since you are reading this right now, let's make that my first thing to be thankful for. Clearly you care enough about me in some way to be reading this! So thank you for caring.

I can't even begin to express how much I miss my family. They are my life, not a day goes by that I don't long to be home just lounging around the house hanging out with the fam. Needless to say I am thankful for them, Daddy, Mommy, step mom, sisters, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins... Who the hell cares how we're related! We're blood and that is always thicker than water.

My Friends. There have been times in my life that I lock myself away, play anti social, and just want to be alone. I guess most people go through periods like that, but no matter what my friends have been there for me. You see, I select my friends very carefully. I could count my true friends on my hands, and each one is a friend for a reason. Liser and Mandee, my best gals growing up! We may not talk daily, we may not see eachother for two years, but a true friend is someone you can talk to after 6 months and pick up right where you left off. That is us. All my Peace River friends, you are truly amazing. You've seen me at one of the lowest points in my life, near the beginning of my time here, yet you still stood by me and you were there for me. Thank you for that, amazing how much can change in two years eh?  My Peace River Family, aka the Rennies.... Andrea took me into her home as a room mate and into her life as a friend when I needed it most and her family seems to have accepted me as one of them, I am super thankful for that! Chrissy, you're a pretty amazing person and are raising an amazing son. I appreciate your friendship. Dan, Tim, Jill and Bree. You've been there for me since day one, quite literally! I don't think I'll ever be able to repay you for the kindness and friendship you've shown me. Jennie, you know who you are. I'd been experiencing a serious lack of girlfriends and you fill that void quite nicely! I love clucking with you on so many levels, and really appreciate your friendship! Also, my man, Ron. What an adventure we're experiencing, and everyday just gets better than the one before. I have butterflies in my stomach when I see you, and when we're apart. Ah young love eh? *barf* but you're also showing me that it's *ok* to be romantic, to open up, and... if you break my heart I'll beat you up! hehe <3

Whew, Congrats if you are still reading this, but there is more!

All my coworkers, am I ever thankful for you! I came to PRB two years ago, fresh out of college with  A LOT of learning to do. It was a struggle for the first year,  you put up with a lot while I figured shit out. If it wasn't for that, I may not be here today. I've improved myself on so many levels while being here because of your patience! I am so proud of myself for how far I've come since starting here, and I have you to thank!
I LOVE MY JOB!!! Thank you to those who have supported me along the way, being mentors, teaching me, and believing in me!! Craig, Iain, Rob, Mike.

So as you can see, I have a tremendous amount to be thankful for in my life, I have never felt so blessed...
and to top it all off, I've lost 60 LBS since June!! Hell frickin yea!!! Thankful to myself for getting off my ass and doing something about it! Still going baby! You just wait till you see me again Ottawa, you wont know what hit ya! ^.^

*takes a deep breath after pouring out her heart and soul*
